Gentle Yoga classes are designed specifically with seniors in mind, offering a low-impact workout that's easy on your joints and promotes flexibility, balance, and overall well-being.
Gentle Yoga provide many benefits of this ancient practice for yourself. We can't wait to welcome you to our yoga community!

Whidbey Island Resources for Seniors
S.A.I.L. Exercise Classes
Stay Active and Independent for Life exercise class, taught by Mel Watson, Island Senior Resources, meet in Campbell Hall every Thursday, 10:00 am - 11:00 am OR 11:30 am-12:30 pm.
SAIL is an evidence-based strength, balance and fitness program for adults 65 and older. Performing exercises that improve strength, balance and fitness are the single most important activity that adults can do to stay active and reduce their chances of falling.
The entire curriculum of activities in the SAIL Program can help improve strength and balance, if done regularly.
