St. Augustine’s Preschool was founded in 1986 as an outreach ministry of St. Augustine’s Parish. During the past twenty-two years hundreds of South and Central Whidbey children have begun their formal education at St. Augustine’s.
Early childhood education is important to the staff at St. Augustine’s Preschool. Our goal and our ministry is to provide enriching educational experiences for preschoolers in a Christian environment.

The final Preschool event at St. Augustine's will be Day Camp, which will be held on M/W/F July 7 -18 from 10:00 to 1:00. Our theme this summer is "It's a Beautiful Day in This Neighborhood." Daily themes are Out to Lunch, Growing in My Garden, Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Neighbors Near and Far, In Our Neighborhood, and Moving Day. (You may notice a Mr. Rogers' Theme!) Day Camp is open to all children ages three through five.
In August the Preschool will be moving down the road to a new home at Trinity Lutheran Church. Registrations are currently being accepted for the 2008-2009 school year. Programs are available for Twos, Threes, and Pre-K's. For information on either Day Camp or fall classes, please call Joan Johnson at 331-4748 .
